국문 초록

본 논문은 대한민국 남북관계에 관한 것이다.1948년 대한민국은 분열되었고 그 후 60년동안 역대 대통령들은 남북관계를 변화시키기 위해 많은 노력을 기울였다. 본 논문은 그 과정을 알아보기 위해 작성되었다.

대표적인 사건들만 살펴보면 이승만 대통령 시절에는 한국전쟁이 발발하였다. 그 결과 남북관계는 굉장히 악화되었다. 그 후 악화일로를 계속하던 남북관계는 박정희 대통령 시절 ‘7·4 남북공동선언’으로 잠시 좋아지는 듯 보였으나 북한은 주석체제 확립, 남한은 유신헌법 개정으로 서로 ‘7·4 남북공동선언’을 이용하는 모습만 갖추게 되었다. 1980년도에는 민간에서의 움직임이 활발했는데 문익환 목사의 방북 ‘KBS 이산가족 찾기 생방송’이 그것이다. 1990년대 들어 남북교류는 더욱 활발해졌다.

1991년 남북단일 탁구팀이 구성되기도 했고 남북한이 동시에 유엔에 가입하기도 하였다. 그러나 김일성이 죽고 황장엽이 남한으로 내려오면서 남북관계는 다시 경직되고 말았다. 경직된 남북관계가 화해모드로 풀리게 된 것은 김대중 대통령 시절이다. 김대중 대통령은 햇볕정책을 펼쳐나갔고 그 결과 남북정상회담이 열렸으며 금강산 관광이 시작되기도 했다.
노무현 대통령도 김대중 대통령 뒤를 이어 남북정상회담을 개최했다. 그는 걸어서 분단선을 넘었는데 “평화와 번영의 길을 넘어 민족의 아픔과 고통을 해소하기 위해 금단의 벽을 무너뜨리기 위해 노력하겠다”라는 말을 남기기도 했다. 곧 개성관광이 시작되었다. 이런 내용들을 활용하여 홈페이지를 개발했다.
